We would like to say a huge well done to Tom for receiving his Chief Scout Award on Saturday at Durham Scouts awards ceremony. The award is the highest award you can receive whilst in Beavers.
Year 3 visited the Church to find out about the role of the Minister. They enjoyed asking Reverend Jane some questions about her job and life in the Church.
On Wednesday, Year 3 went to Temple Park to compete in a multi skills tournament. They played different games as a team to compete against other schools in South Tyneside.
Year 3 went to the Word on Thursday to do ‘Robotics with Wedo’ – look how much fun they had!
Last week, 3 of our Year Three children went to the Town Hall to their ‘Starry Land’ event. Starry Land is an event ran by South Tyneside Council to introduce younger children to democracy. The children had a great time, and they even got to meet the Mayor and Mayoress!
Year 3 visited Temple Park Sports Centre, last week, to compete in a Multiskills tournament. The children had great fun competing as a team against other schools. The activities they were involved in included:
- jumping the furthest
- running the fastest
- collecting the most treasure
- scoring the most goals
- throwing the ball without dropping it for the longest time.

Year Three have achieved 100% attendance this week. A fantastic effort from all the children. Well done Year Three.
