We hope everyone has enjoyed the Easter break and is safe and well. The teachers have been busy planning activities that they think the children will enjoy completing and that will support their learning while school is closed. Please check under the School Closure tab for your child’s yeargroup. The activities will also be posted on Google Classroom for the children to access – if you need help with user names or passwords please contact school.
The Government has also produced further guidance for supporting your child’s learning at home which can be found here.
Two new education resource packages are also being launched on April 20th to support parents and help keep children learning.
BBC Bitesize are producing three lessons a day for each year group which you may want to choose to access. The lessons will include a range of videos and activities.
Oak National Academy will also provide 180 video lessons each week, across a broad range of subjects from maths to art to languages, for every year group from Reception through to Year 10.
We hope you find the work we are setting and the links to resources accessible and helpful. We would love to see photos or any work completed by the children – these can be easily uploaded onto Google Classroom. Thank you for your continued support and we hope to see everyone back at Whitburn soon.
